How Start-ups Can Take Advantage of LinkedIn?

Most entrepreneurs are well-known and respected among their own professional network. However, most entrepreneurs don’t know how to effectively utilize and grow these networks for the benefit of their businesses. Even if your start-up doesn’t have a large network yet, you can easily spread the word about your company by utilizing LinkedIn and other social media channels. LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with nearly 400,000 users in Finland and 161+ million worldwide. LinkedIn is also the only social media where users have 100% control over their own profile.” Having a complete and keyword rich profile is a good start, but being active on Linkedin is what makes the difference” Roope Heinilä and Mikael Lauharanta, the founders of Smarp Oy, emphasized.
Smarp Oy – Professional Social Media Training
The event was a very typical training session in Aalto Protomo Helsinki. The event was hosted by Smarp Oy, one of the Protomo teams that specializes in the utilization of LinkedIn. The training was well prepared and organized – every participant managed to create their own personal and company profiles on LinkedIn during the event. “Thanks to the event, our teams now have the necessary knowledge to maintain their presence on Linkedin” said Seppo Rantalainen, from Aalto Protomo Helsinki. Smarp Oy showed great professionalism and our participants were very satisfied with their teaching, Rantalainen summarized the afternoon session.
Next autumn we will be organizing the next LinkedIn workshop since there are plenty of Protomo-people interested in the platform but their skills are not yet at a competitive level. This is one way we can help our teams improve their marketing efforts, Seppo Rantalainen continued.
