Project concentrates in developing two different issues: both software service for systematic innovation management and efficient software development platform and processes.

Software development platform to be developed relies on the newest Microsoft technologies and working is based on agile, distributed methods.
 
Target setting
Innovation Management service is based on SaaS-model and Microsoft Azure cloud computing technology. Selected talents will focus in different technology challenges by first finding out the best practises and then by doing technical specification, implementation and testing.
 
The project utilizes the newest Microsoft technologies both for software implementation, software life cycle management and management of distributed team work. The ultimate goal is to create a new platform which can be utilized also with creation of new kinds of software products in the future. At the same time project establishes distributed, iterative working model supported by Microsoft communication technology.
 
The project may utilize e.g. following Microsoft technologies and tools:

• Development tools: Visual Studio 2010, Team Foundation Server 2010, Lab Management 2010,
• Implementation technology: Azure (incl. SQL Azure)
• Team collaboration: SharePoint Server 2010, Office 2010, Office Communication Server
• Infrastructure: Microsoft OS, Microsoft virtualization

 
Expectations from you
We are especially interested in persons keen on self-education with solid software development and/or IT infrastructure planning and maintenance experience. Microsoft technology know-how is an advantage. Working location is flexible because work is based on using technology which supports distributed team work. We expect you to have a broadband internet connection and Windows workstation suitable for development work.
