New Factory meeting rooms have new booking calendars and names. The calendars are managed by staff in Google, and can be linked to New Factory community members' Google accounts. Please, notice that the old booking calendars are no longer in use.

Temuta, a Protomo team from New Factory, published Teddy The Bear application world-wide in the App Store. Teddy The Bear is not a game but a digital toy stimulating children to use their imagination to enriche the playing experience.

"There were some hick-ups on the way in closing the final leg, but this was a good learning experience for the coming challenges and a story to tell in the future." says Juha Rinne, a co-founder of Temuta.

The downloads have started with USA, China, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Sweden and Russia.

Valmennusohjelman oli tarkoitus alkaa 24.4, mutta hakua on jatkettu 7.5. asti.
Hakuaikaa jatkettiin, koska eräiden yritysten irtisanomisprosessi eteni ennalta arvioitua hitaammin ja halusimme antaa myös näille osallistujille mahdollisuuden hakeutua yrittäjävalmennukseen.

Startup Sauna Warmup heats up New Factory on Thursday, March 29. A big group of companies and teams applied to step on the stage and compete to move forward to win a spot in the Startup Sauna program - and maybe in the end to travel to Silicon Valley to meet investors, competitors and media.

Audience is warmly welcome to join the event in the morning session in New Factory - come to hear the latest pitches from some promising growth companies! In the afternoon, the teams will receive 1on1 coaching by the selected Startup Sauna coaches.

The Warmup is a one-day event at 29.3.2012 at New Factory where 10-40 startups pitch in the morning.
From those, the coaches pick 10 to attend 1on1, 15-20 minute coaching sessions.
Thus, every startup receives at least 1,5 hours of valuable advice and honest
feedback. Prepare to give a three minute pitch, no less, no more.
